How are your adverts performing?

Hi guys,

Just curious to see how everyone is doing now after the whole ad boycott. Most people have vanished as they no longer have any problems - but I'm sure I'm not alone by still having trouble with my adverts showing on my videos.

Don't get me wrong things have got much better, but certain videos are still showing nothing at all and are no different in content/metadata etc to any of my other videos. I only noticed this, because one of my videos managed to get 300k views in 2 weeks, BUT barely any ads showed so I earnt around £20. Haha. Another video did similarly well too and only got slightly more. Annoying!

Just wondering if anyone else is having similar problems?

I don't really make a lot of money, but I do put one or two ads on my vids. Just for that little bit to keep me slightly motivated. However, after the boycott I have put ads on but have gained nothing. It's probably the swearing. It's not my source of income so it's not like 'the end of the world' but is still slightly disappointing.
Good to hear that your channel and other channels are getting on track again tho

The situation with Youtube revenue is awful for my gaming channel. After the ads boycott, my monthly revenue on April and May has dropped in about 50%. The situation is going to be even worse in June as I see it in my daily earnings in YT analytics.

If a year before I had a dream to quit my job and dedicate myself to YT and live from this money, now it is impossible. I have to continue to work on my job almost every day and upload videos on my spare time as a hobby.

I'm a lowly channel... if I make $3 in a day, that is a pretty decent day. : ) Nonetheless, once the talk of the boycott started, my revenue has been UP considerably since. And if I was watching other people's videos at the time that the boycott first started, I was seeing ads all the time... maybe even more than usual?[DOUBLEPOST=1497614555,1497614469][/DOUBLEPOST]Maybe the boycott of certain channels concentrated the ad revenue elsewhere to other channels?

My revenue has around halved which sucks. I was seeing signes of recovery but this month is worse than last month.

I'm kinda new. Is the amount adsense is paying right now something very rare to see? So I should expect a significant drop anytime?
December is the best month for revenue. March, June, and September make up the rest of the top 4. The middle 4 months are February, May, August, and November. The worst 4 months are April, July, October, and the worst is January. We are in June, one of the best ones. Next month will be one of the worst ones, so expect a drop. There was also an ad boycott that dropped ad revenue, and it started in April, one of the worst months, so a lot of people saw a huge drop. My ad revenue has gone back up to normal levels, but I'm getting more views than I ever have, so this is the best month for ad revenue I've had so far.

Thanks for such a good explanation! :D
