i wanna record with this but lay it down...but then when i transfer the clips the thing will be side ways

Well you can't lay it down then. Because even if you get a program that lets you rotate it, the aspect ratio would be vertical- and vertical video is bad. See if that camera has any settings to let you change how it records, but I doubt it.

Well how do you want to lay it down?
i wanted it to be be standing up but it will fall (no doubt) but i was thinking of sandwiching it between my book collection lol..[DOUBLEPOST=1365041444,1365041384][/DOUBLEPOST]

yeah, i was thinking about doing the rotation but there might be the possibility of "the black lines" and the ration will look ehhh. thanks for commenting though! means a lot

wedge it between two dvds. I did that with my iphone when I needed it standing up. It works! :p
and that way it will film it in the ratio or whatever its supposed to be in and won't be sideways
thanks for the advice dude! i will diff try this! i didnt that it wouldve film it in the ratio :)

well im pretty sure the "original ratio" of that camera is upright standing up because its meant to be carried around like that so propping it up should keep that aspect.. try it out!

Does it have a tripod mounting screw hole? If so, lots of tripods have angle options.
