Even though it is raising awareness for a rather important manner, it still made me shiver how light hearted it was (in the original videos). It was as if he wasn't aware of how serious it was.
The way he went about it made me think that perhaps he was using the cover of a "social experiment" to try and make up for the mistake.
The PBSideachannel made a dug out a good comment about how he essentially took advantage of his audience and how even though he is popular, he should feel so empowered that he could do that.
Hopefully the backlash does make him think on how he does these "social experiments" in the future.
If you want to take something positive away from this, it did raise awareness on an important subject. Just done in a controversial way.

) there are very few situations a woman can put a man into that he cant get himself out of especially in public. to me its the same thing if a child runs up on me pushes me then says GIVE ME ALL YOUR MONEY(with no weapon) id look at him confused then just start laughing but if a HUGE grown man runs up and says the same thing while holding no weapon it registers as life or death.
