I tried to do a YouNow stream ages ago, the waiting line though is to long.

You have to stay away from the big rooms. It's better to hop on a small one with very few to no people and just chat with them and eventually ask them to subscribe after a few minutes. More people will also join once they see that someone's broadcasting there.
