We check every single channel, and size doesn't matter. Actually it depends on the content, if I (Shana) see something that inspires me, I write a script, and wuala, a trailer will born :) So everyone has a chance to get a trailer.

We just started it in January, and honestly it started as an experiment, we had a lot of problems with copyright claims for a few weeks until I found a Network to partner with. Now it finally started growing, so basically we just started taking it seriously. And by that I mean....really seriously :D I enjoy it so much I quit my job and will start doing it full-time from next week :)

Nice. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to submit one for my channel lol. Big fan of Honest Trailers so these were entertaining to watch.
 
Do they ask for permission or do they just make trailers for channels. Personally, I wouldn't allow anyone to do make a video with my footage without my permission.

Usually people ask US to make trailers for them. In that case, we warn them that it is possible that they won't like it, as we have a certain style, and we won't delete it even if they don't like it (it is a lot of hard work to make them after all). For the big channels such as PewDiePie and Markiplier, we notify them, and let them know if they have a problem with it, let us know and we won't make it, or we will delete it anytime they ask (this happened only once so far).
Our goal is to help youtubers share their content and make a channel where viewers can find trailers about a tons of channels so they can discover new youtubers.
 
I would have absolutely zero problems with a youtuber using my content to make a featured mash-up like that just as long as they ask me first, and obviously link my channel in the video / description. It's those that just take your content, make a video (or included it in any type of compilation of footage stolen off YT) and monetize it that will be dealt with accordingly. I have found over the last few months that the YouTube content reporting system deals out swift action.

I watched a couple of the trailers, and it is hilarious. Guess it's easier to be on the watching end than the receiving end. LOL.

I have always assumed that was a myth that women invented to make insecure men feel better about themselves.
Your channel is actually very entertaining--I love your irreverent take on things. I applied on your subreddit!
