Holiday Gifts That Help Your Channel

Christmas has come and gone, and maybe Santa has been good to you? Hanukkah presents are being given still (I think?) and maybe you got something that will help your channel? Did you get a camera? Some lights? A microphone? Green screen material?

I got a nice microphone that goes with a smartphone (since I still film most everything on my iPhone) and it's pretty neat.

How about you? Any great gifts for your channel?

Nothing this year, but Christmas and Birthday presents while I was a teenager is how I got my horde of equipment.

I slowly got my mic and its equipment, software, and a better camera over the years through gifting.

Really gotta appreciate your loved ones when they help with a hobby.

Well I got a $50 dollar Walmart card and I've been wanting to get an external hard drive to store all my files for my channel

My girlfriend surprised me with a whole new setup with lights and a tripod!! So useful now no more stack'd up books hahah!! So happy

I got a new camera for Christmas A few years back my mom got me my first microphone for my birthday. I've since upgraded, but it was so nice for her to take an interest in my hobby

I got a mic stand that will really help when we have more than one of us recording since the mic won't have to be sitting on the table three feet away from each of us like we have to have it now lol

I got a camera battery, lens cleaning solution, and some of those lint picker-upper cloths for camera lenses. ^_^ Yay!

I received a gift card that I'm probably going to use to invest in 2 new hard drives - one as a primary storage drive (separate from my operating system) and the other as a new and faster recording drive for gameplay recordings that will hopefully allow me to record at a higher quality due to the faster write speeds.

Good idea. I'm going to buy myself a second one. My first one isn't full but I'm going to backup to 2 drives as extra security.
