I LOVE HITFILM 4 SOO MUCH!( Sorry if I should not have posted this I'm new)
Does anyone else use HitFilms 4 Express? If you don't know what it is its like Premier but free.
Really? That's strange. just the other day I exported a video that was about 2 hours. Are you sure your using express? The only problem I have with it is that mine has a 5 min video limit, but I could of just messed something up in my video settings.
Overall I think it is the best free video editor you can get at the moment.
Yeah, I'm using express, I think I just messed something up when creating the new file, I'd check, but I can't right now because I'm on a kind of road trip and don't have a computer with me.Really? I think it even has a few more ways you can edit your videos, like masking and whatnot, it's a lot like after effects just free.

I LOOOVEE Hitfilm 4 Express! Hitfilm makes some great programs and has a great community to rely on. I was actually just going to make a new topic about it until I saw this one. It is a really underrated program and I don't know why more people don't use it.
i actually figured it out, if i go to preferences the default timeline time was set to 5 min, i don't know why, but it was. glad i figured that out thoughI LOOOVEE Hitfilm 4 Express! Not sure why yours is doing that.... I just created a video that was 10 minutes long. Actually, I think I may know what your problem is. Try looking at your timeline, above the track, right next to the times on the bar where you adjust the position in the video, there should be a point where the shade of the gray track changes from light to dark. Find the point it changes shade and you should be able to drag it from left to right on the track. That line basically controls the out-point of your video, and even if you have video after that point it won't play it or export it. I've had a problem with that in the past with another editor so that may be your problem too.![]()
