Let me get it started with mine:

WARNING: I know this might upset some here...

So many YouTubers hate when people steal their content.

But I embrace this...

I encourage others to take my video, and use it on their own channel...

Because I end each of my videos with a short URL to my blog post...

This post contains a list of tips, or a worksheet - or maybe even weird pictures.

For me, getting traffic to my blog is WAY more important than to my YouTube channel.

I set the default of my uploads to Creative Commons- Attribution - like this:

Allowing others to "steal" my videos is my hand's-down favorite YouTube viral marketing strategy.

Yes, I have my content on other people's channel. And this is great, because they are spreading my webpage URL for me 100% FREE. (Plus most include my URL in their video description box, too.)

You said webpage URL right? Is the webpage URL your channel or another website that you own? Because I thought the goal was growing your channel.

I mean I'm working on a website myself for me and a few friends to join as a community, but moving the URL to that isn't going to do much for my channel if they have to click to see my YT channel afterward.

So did you mean channel URL or...

Usually when people steal videos they edit out the parts that don't link back to their own site, and add their own links. Look at Buzzfeed, they do it all the time.

Hey JT... you might be right for regular videos...

But since I have a Creative Commons license attached to each upload, I almost always see my URL featured at the end...

I just checked one of the many many clones of my videos - take a look... over 3 million views (and counting):

And keep in mind that this video is on dozens of other channels.

But enough about me...
