Hey guys i am now a YouTube partner.

I'm having a lot of issues with the back ground and i'm a bit lost any chance one of you lovely guys can give me some tips

Mapping every time i do the mapping it messes up and looks bad

I like it how it is me but I would definitely use your header as a chance to promote your Facebook page, Twitter and official website with icons or tabs linking to them, if you had playlists I would have recommend those to be up there too. Maybe some graffiti in the background or something that represents the style of music you guys do, I am not sure if you cover loads of genres though so that could be best left out.

You need to do the mapping on the banner, not the background itself.
