HELP! Your video has been removed from YouTube!

I don't have more than 15,000 watch time hours in the last 90 days but is it possible for me to contact YouTube through an email address?

Nope, sorry. You could try their official forums, but likely won't find and luck their either...and, from someone who meets the qualifications, it's not like talking to them helps anyway.

I'll give it a try.[DOUBLEPOST=1446166092,1446160910][/DOUBLEPOST]

I have posted my complaint to the YouTube official forum and yet to have any replies.

I went on to YouTube this morning to find that one of my videos was removed which really saddens me considering the time and effort I have put into it. I checked my email and have attached screenshots of the removal to this post. I have not received any warning about the removal of the video which I believe is unfair. I not exactly sure why the video was removed but I suspect it was because my description was too long or had too many links in it. Is it possible for YouTube to reinstate my video and allow me to fix the issues?

Most likely what happened was that YouTube scanned this video and found that it matched their content ID and they took it down because the original owner of the song doesn't want others to use it on YouTube. And if you're not a YouTube partner, you can't fight it, which is why you most likely had it taken down before you could fight it. It happens quite a bit. This is why I don't leave videos like this up if it even says content ID found something in it. At any time, they can just pull the plug on it.

I can't seem find any way to appeal to the removal so I have reu-ploaded it. The original video had about 260 views. Any ideas on how to get them back?

There is no appeal processes since you're allowed to repost it and, unfortunately, there is no way of getting the lost views, comments or likes back. They're gone.

As I said, I've talked to YouTube about it on multiple occasions, but, instead of 260 views, I lost 1.4 Million...and still couldn't get an answer or reason it was removed.

Damn that is a shame, I really worked hard on that video . I'll probably make a complaint video to YouTube lol.

Then repost it as they said you're allowed to.

Let me know how that works out for you... far easier (and safer) to simply move on and hope it doesn't happen again.

I have re-uploaded it but it is going to take a lot of time, work and help to sharing the video. Some of my friends will probably think I am spamming them. Any ideas?

Nope, it's gone and you'll likely never know why.

The best you can do is repost it (as it says you can), move on, and try to forget that it ever happened.

I had the same thing happen a few months ago and even spoke to someone from YouTube (both on a phone and via email) and still couldn't get an answer on why my video was taken down with the same 'Rejected (re-upload allowed)' message. Except for me it was 1.4M views gone overnight. Thanks YouTube.

1.4 m views? And they had the cheek to take it down and not give you a reason? That's unforgivable! :(

Back to the original post, were there any licenced music in the video? and second question are you monetizing your videos? There maybe a copyright music claim from the original owner - but who knows :(
