help with recording ps4 gameplay

Hi, so i wanna record ps4 gameplay with audio, i have a roxio hd game capture... thing is out dated and didnt really work when i tried it, now i know the ps4 can record stuff, but can i get it to record my audio, and then send all that to my pc or transfer it, so i can edit it and all that ? right now my solution is to live stream it from my ps4 to youtube... wondering if there is a better option ?

You could livestream to youtube OR twitch, download either livestream, edit, and reupload, I used to do that on my Xbox way back in the day before I bought an elgato, it's useful, tho if you can, go for an elgato
 
I don't really have the money for an elgato right now, yeah I'll probably try that, even tho it's gonna be a hassle with the big files
