HELP - Webcam Recording?!?!

Hey guys,
I've bought a HD webcam to use to record my Youtube video's (i want to record me not record whats on my screen) but cannot find a program to record them!
I've tried Manycam and Windows Move Maker and neither of them allow me to do this!

Would really appreciate your suggestions :)

You can try OBS, DXtory or even Shadowplay (if You have a required NVIDIA card) to do this. All of them are free.
 
Sure they are. I mean... You have means to display what Your webcam is capturing, right? There should be software added with Your product or at least drivers for it.
 
Yeah, OBS is probably your best option, just setting your recording to only pick up your webcam. Otherwise, Logitech has a pretty good webcam recorder, but you could use pretty much anything else that picks up your webcam and lets you record
