Help regarding putting links on youtube description

I have this video which is getting good views. guy asked me if i can put his site link in the video description and he will pay 20$ for it.
and site seems to be 'Referral Program' site.on the site description it says like share links on facebook,twitter and earn money .

is it safe to put it?

He want's to pay you so he can earn money. I would only do it after he pays you but put it at the bottom of the description so people won't see it. lol
 
Before you advertise he's site, maybe check the site is legit and legal. You don't want to be dragged into a dispute with your views if one of them gets hacked, scammed or fraud is committed against them due to a site which was in your description.

When "some" people see a link in the description box they automatically believe you're vouching for the site and that the site is safe. It's better to be safe than sorry.

If everything is safe and legit, he is probably investing in his site, using promotion through your video description and knows $20 is a small fee to pay for what he will eventually earn through he's business (website).

Just do what you want to do, take it easy bud.

I personally wouldn't risk it for the money. Plus if I am reading it correctly, he's site states it is an online leading advertisement company, why would he pay to have he's URL in a video description box. I think you've made the right choice :) $20 loss isn't the end of the world mate.
