Help promoting my channel..

hey all, i am kaptainobvious81, i have been on youtube about 5 months and after networking like crazy, getting my technique down, doing collabs and getting shout outs from popular youtubers, i am still in a rut. I have about 551 subs and i cant see to get any higher..ive tried sites like reddit and all, with no luck. Can someone help me here ? lol, check me out if u like as well, i think i make ok content. thank you

My videos are mostly random, the only thing I could see people subbing for are my dog videos or slow motion videos because that's the only theme vibe I give off. I have a decent flow of views, just no subs.

my videos are random as well, mainly rants, me in drag doing characters or gameplays lol
 
That amount of subscribers after only 5 months is amazing. You don't officially qualify as being in a rut. Just be patient...you're obviously doing something right, it will pick up again.
 
Wow thats alot of subs in such a short time dude!!


I have been on youtube for a year and only have like 60 subscribers.

Im a singer, musician and also have a little bit of comedy in my videos. So yeah it would mean a lot if you guys could check it out.

Best advice any youtuber could give you is to be patient and persistent. As long as you keep the videos up and engage with your audience, you will grow in subs and views. Also try to get some friends to help your promote your videos
 
I deff think you should just keep doing what you are doing, publishing as much quality videos as you can. I would KILL to be in your spot right now :), just keep up the hard work and you will grow. Keep doing everything that you did to get to where you are now and in 5 months you will probably have around have double what you got or even more. I'm thinking like 1500 - 5000 since your reach is soooo much larger.

Your subs ratio isn't that bad for 5 months . I just got lucky on a few of my videos to get 1000 subs quickly.

Your channel is similar in tone to my channel. If you want to collab with me sometime. Let me know.
