Help needed uploading .mp4 to YT

I am disappointed to see that YT have abolished there public forum page

But I have tried uploading .mp4 to you tube and all I am told is An error has occurred while sending data over the network. Please check your network connection and try uploading again.

There is no network connection problem because when I try to upload .mp3 I am told The video has failed to process. Please make sure you are uploading a supported file type.
So there is something wrong with YT?

if you google search "what file formats does youtube support" there's a list of are the supported file formats, some work better than others. mp4 is supported mp3 is not.
I use .mp4 and I've never had any problems, if you keep having problems I'd try a different format or maybe you don't have a very strong internet connection.

You should use MP4 with H.264 codec. What program du you use for rendering?

Do a double render in Premiere Pro: much better quality!
