Help me loosen up please

In the beginning, we felt the same way, but I think it sort of changed when you imagine the camera as someone watching you. Heck, at times, we forget that it isn't a live feed, it's just us talking to the camera! After a while you start to get used to it when you treat it like there's a person on the other end, weirdly enough.

That's awesome! =D lol, that's really great to know thank you so much! The only thing I need to know now is how to make my videos... I keep changing them up. Like, one minute I'm all hyper, then the next it's really chill. Plus I don't know what to really keep or delete out the video. I feel like it gets a little too long, or kinda pointless. How did YOU guys discover how you do things, or how to know what to keep or delete?

Record yourself over and over. Don't put the pressure on yourself that you have to have good footage; you don't, because you can redo it as much as you want. Realize that what you're doing right now isn't necessarily what others are going to see-- it helps take the pressure off to know that nothing silly, low quality, or embarrassing will be uploaded because you are in total control of what goes on your channel. You'll become more natural over time.

That's REALLY good advice!! Omg thank you! XD

lol I tend to sing to the game music or something before I count myself in[DOUBLEPOST=1432872273,1432872235][/DOUBLEPOST]I record it all as well but edit it out. Would make a pretty funny video actually

I don't have any experience with vlogging, and I have all the respect in the world for anyone who can spontaneously talk on camera and be interesting! My advice though for anyone who wants to loosen up creatively is to tell yourself it doesn't have to be perfect, so don't try to be perfect, just go for it! You don't have to upload it if you don't like it, but keep doing it whether you upload or not! Doing it at all is more important than trying to get it perfect. I think with repetition and continuous practice you will naturally get more comfortable.

I see some really good advice here! I also have this problem, but have been trying to talk to the camera regularly, to make myself feel more comfortable, but I still feel baffled for words. It's also hard for me since English is my second language :D

It sounds like you are "sanctioning" yourself. You're more worried about what you need to say and what you want to say etc. worried about how it would look, worried about what people might think etc.
Don't worry about any of that as peoples perspectives will be different to yours. Never worry about what you might say because it may end up being something awesome and if it doesn't work as well as other videos then it give you a better idea of your audience.
Treat the camera like you do you best friend. You are talking to the viewers after all and each of them should feel comfortable watching you. If you're feeling anxious and awkward then the audience will feel awkward. If you are fascinated about something your talking about, the viewers will become fascinated with you.

If its a more serious vid then cutting back on emotion is not a problem because you are wanting your audience to take you seriously and see you as a professional. Just try to keep in mind you're not talking to a camera, you're talking to every individual who watches the video

So very VERY true! Thank you so much for making me feel better about my videos. I feel like a ton of weight has been put off me now. Thank you!
