help! how do i expand my channel?

okay so I didn't make a youtube channel to become "big" and stuff but I do want people to be watching my videos obviously everyone who goes on youtube does but I don't know how to make my channel stand out or get noticed a bit more, I only have 4 subscribers atm please could I have some tips? or if you'd check out my channel and give me feedback?
 
It's tough but you've just got to keep putting out consistently good content. Then post it all over social media and if your "brave" (or stupid) enough maybe try posting on Reddit.

We're not the biggest channel so i'm not the most qualified person to be giving advice but i can say this - patience is key.
 
Make sure to give 100% in every video is the most important thing I think. Second, make sure to connect with people with similar interests on twitter, facebook etc. Also talk with people on twitter, fb... Comment on videos you like but do not spam your channel. And very effective is collaboration. Find someone who makes similar videos and do collab. You write their channel in description and they write yours. Also try to be consistent as much as possible. Furthermore, ask your subscribers where you can improve yourself. Try to make your subscribers more active with questioning them about what they think about your topic. I make my subscribers more active with challenges I give them. Anyway, im not big either but those are few things that told us big youtubers. Some strategies are already working for me :)
 
I just skimmed through your videos (with the sound off - I'm at my parents house in the living room and my mom is napping on the couch) and I have a suggestion on how to improve your videos visually. Don't sit in front of an uncovered window. It makes you look washed out and hurts my eyes. If you want to use natural light, sit facing the window or perpendicular to the window. I think that your into video in that white room with the ladder looks the best.

You can make your thumbnails and channel art more professional looking. Right now it looks like my first Geocities web page from 1998. Use more saturated colours and a blockier font. The hazy borders remind me of wedding photos from 1986, I'm not diggin it.

other tips: do up your closed captioning for every video, your videos will show up in google keyword searches. Attach as many tags to your video as youtube will allow, and be sure to include some inccorectly speeled termms. Put a lot of information in the description of your videos, and have a block of the same text attached to all of your videos so that your other videos show up in the side bar when someone is watching one of your videos.

You're gonna be ok. I would like to see a cute curtain on your window that reflects your personal style, maybe you could put some scarves into rotation up there? :)
 
I've had some luck on Reddit if you can find a sub reddit that is in your niche. Also yes, obviously hit facebook and your friends... I have "acquaintances" on FB that I honestly don't know that well, had a falling out after college, or someone that friended me after one meeting (We all know those people) that I've shared my videos to, and they have been surprisingly enthusiastic and supportive and I have actually rekindled some fall outs because of my recent videos and channel launch... it's crazy...
 
I'm also very small and what i read are good tips really! But what is very important what was said here is not to give up and continue to upload consistently some new video's :)
That is what i'm trying to do anyways :) haha

Be sure to stay active in a great community, and work with others that are like-minded as you. You'll be going far in no time!
 
I make beauty videos as well.
Some things I personally found helpful are:
Try to have good lighting.
Stay true to your personality.
Know your stuff about the products you're talking about.
Try to be creative.
Try and make yt friends.
Do collabs.
Edit your thumbnails.
Have Fun!
