Hey guys i joined quizgroup the other day where they have 80/20 rev share and a the cpm depends on you, i for instens have 4.10 cmp atm. i hit 1.5 mil views in a week and my total earnings says 1,200 dollar and here i am expecting 4000 dollar or more total" estimated earnings. my cpm also was pretty low these days i jumped from 1,9 to 4 in 3 days. should i trust "total" estimated earnings or does everything comes down to final earnings?

thanks!

Estimated earnings multiplied by 0.8 will be what you have earned.
Estimated earnings are sometimes off by up to 3% but usually less than 1%.

Remember that the CPM you see n analytics is before YouTube's 45% cut whereas Estimated earnings are after this 45% cut has been already taken out.

Ad Performance Tab
4.10 CPM X Estimated Monetized Playbacks = Gross Revenue

Your estimated monetized playbacks is the number of views that showed an ad. Not all views display ads.

Estimated Earnings Tab
Gross Revenue X 0.55 = Estimated Earnings

YouTube takes 45% of all earnings, so multiplying by 0.55 shows the remainder. Estimated Earnings is before the network split.

Estimated Earnings X 0.80 = Net Revenue that you should receive. Now, that of course banks on the earnings not being on copyrighted content like the videos on the channel you have linked on this forum.
