Help for the YouTube and yttalk Forums Noob

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forums and I'm looking to start my own gaming channel in the foreseeable future. I will have many questions while I go through the process of creating my own channel. The question I have at this moment is regarding creating a username. I just created a Google and Youtube account, but I want to change my YT account from my name to a username... I know you can do that by being eligible for a custom URL but is there any other way to get a username? Like I said before I'm new to these forums so I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum.

No there is no other way anymore. You have to meet the requirements for the URL. You can change your name though to whatever youd like[DOUBLEPOST=1424809317,1424809281][/DOUBLEPOST]And make sure you put whatever name you want in your tags until you can get the url, that way people can find you in the search. Thats what I do
