HELP - editing emergency

I Love YTtalk
Well I say emergency but this gig isn't exactly life or death for me with only 6 subs but i have been using Windows Movie Maker to edit with and its suddenly decided that it doesn't want to work - I have Lightworks but it is far too complicated to learn for tonight. I am a little overdue on posting and i wondered if anyone knew of another editor that is free and easy to learn

If you can afford it, Adobe Premiere Elements 13 might be a good step up. It comes bundled with Photoshop Elements for around $130. Alone it is $100.
Or, if you like the Sony workflow better, Sony Movie Studio is a toned-down version of Vegas with some interface differences. The Platinum version is only $80.

Sorry they're not free, but you won't find really good editing software for free. The only other free one I could think of is Windows Live Movie Maker but it is even more basic than the old Windows Movie Maker.
 
If it's an emergency for just this moment, you can try to find a free trial of an editor and just use it once.

I don't know how simple it is but, I think AVS video editor was kinda simple and I think it got a free trial.

dont do free trials it leads people with bad data stuck on their ram forever. try VSDC free video editor, its the same like sony veges but free.

After some tinkering in bios i managed to make the editor work again, I was a bit annoyed about it because i had botched two videos in filming previously and was overdue to post, so you can imagine i was a little miffed that after filming went ok the bloody editor failed on me...

I will really have to invest in a proper editor soon, Windows Movie Maker is a little limited
