Nope, see the screenshot above. You'll get a Content ID match and the video it's in can't be monetized. While there's good advice in avoiding copyrighted material, many companies have caught on to the fact that they can earn money by taking the monetization from videos that use their material, so they choose to allow and take the money rather than block and strike.

Of course, it could all change at any time, but you also hear stories of copyright-free material changing status and people getting Content ID claims, so who knows?

I see. So there will be partial block (Germany). Still I think it is too risky and to sure how the algorithm treats such movies - in terms of promotion.

That's simply a lie. Any portion of third party can deal you a copyright strike. It all depends on the copyright holder.

And it depends on the context in which it's used. So if it falls under fair use and isn't a big/main portion of the video
 
Oh I see I see maybe I'll just private it so that no one can see it hehehe.. I'll just make a new intro. It's good that I've decided to experiment first and ask first before I start the channel. I'm just getting subscribers, views and likes before my channel starts.. :)
 
Aw it stinks.. I want to keep it though for the views hehehe.. Maybe I can edit it and remove the audio hahaha..

YouTube may not check for under 10 seconds now but if they do in the future, you'll have a whole library of videos with the content.

At the moment, it appears that they allow you to use it but they will claim the ad revenue if the content gets detected. Again, that is the current policy regarding that song but in the future, the rights-holders can decide to not allow the song on YouTube anymore.

Poof! All of your videos disappear.

Yeah just putting it up just for the experiment but I will remove it after when I'm done getting subscribers.. Just put it there cause I still have no videos to show and just made some compilation. Anyway just puting it there to hype it w/ relatives and friends. It's a good strategy though.. Getting subscribers before the whole thing started.. :)
