Help: Comments no longer in order

I just used the send feedback option under all the tabs to the left. I didn't have an option to report any issue only to send feedback.
 
For new comments on each video you just have to go to the Community tab under Creator Studio, in the comments section. All the way on the right there is a drop down bar saying "All videos" Change it to the video you want to see (your latest one presumably) then on the left underneath "published comments" you can change it from Top Comments to Newest First.
But for new comments on old videos...I guess just set it up to go through your email? Idk that's super annoying...

@Sammie Reads We know that works. That doesn't help when somebody posts a comment on an older video. What are we supposed to do? Check every video to see what was the most recent comment?

Oh, I was reading people's comments on this thread and it seemed just like people were confused because it was "all jumbled up" so I just assumed they didn't see the drop down box. Sorry, just trying to be helpful.
 
I don't think it is a bug. Yes the comments are kind of messed up but still comments on most recent videos are predominant (at least on our channel). I think Google is testing new system to fight the comment for comment and "bot type" answering activities. It may take time until they fine tune it but overall it must be beneficial for new/smaller channels. Also they try again to focus the effort of YT creators (big and small) on video production.
 
I am glad so many people have replied to this thread--and mostly are in agreement that this is horrible. The only good news is that comments are still in order in the Dashboard. While I much prefer to reply to comments in Comments (to avoid opening each video), at least we can still see what comments are newest in Dashboard. As for Comments, some people seem to see a method to the madness--that may be, but it is not obvious on mine. My top comments now are from people who have not engaged on my channel or their own in months.
 
It seams as though they are featuring comments that don't have replies. I'm replying to them and the list refreshes with new comments that I haven't replied to
