HD Cameras

I Love YTtalk
Just thought I'd put this out there. I'm sure a lot of people already know this, but I was an idiot and did something foolish. You see, I used to use my Galaxy S4's camera for live action stuff and kept hoping it could somehow record in HD. But it can't. Did I learn from the fact that it's said to record HD video when it really puts out crap? No. Not at all. Instead, I went and bought a Sony Handycam because it also claimed to record in HD. That was a foolish endeavor because right on the camera it says that it records in 9 megapixels. That's less than what my S4 did. And that ended up being $250 dollars. Now I have to try and make a bunch of quality videos with it and hope they catch on to make up for this waste of money. That way it was an "investment". But really it can't be because it's garbage. Unless I'm wrong and there's a setting I don't know about. The morale of the story though, is that you should NOT believe something that says it records in HD. Look at it's megapixels too. I guess I'd say look at reviews too, but those kinda failed me. Just do more research in general...

It's good idea to to do research before buying, little did i know this before, but now i do some research on the products i buy and i never have any more problems, week ago i got a Microsoft LifeCam
and works great same with the SL600 mic, for other stuff i use my Galaxy S5, its a shame tho that some products that are posted are false advertised and getting the customer in a bad position especially like you said, that you wanted to make a investment in it.

Yes. The Galaxy S5 camera is way better than the S4. I used to have the S5 (Before I upgraded to the iPhone 6+) and the video quality on that is so pure. Also for the best video quality, use natural lighting during the daytime.

yes the s5 you can either have 1080P video or even 4k resolution video which is insane if your pc can allow 4k.

this is not a self promo at all but I started out my daily vlogs using a Samsung galaxy s5 I used mixed between the front and back camera but check out the quality

I use a plain vanilla flavoured Nikon L820 bridge camera ($200) and it does great, sharp 1080p no problems at all.

I always use it in single focus mode.

16 Mpixels, has excellent macro zoom, backlit cmos sensor for low light, and massive battery life.

Nothing else in that price range comes close IMHO - and I had several Canons previously.
