having syncing issues with wondershare video editor

So I've seen a couple tutorials of people using wonder share and when they try to play the video back it seems to lag on them as well. I like the software but it's a hassle to edit on it because I have to listen to the audio of the video verses the video aspect of it to sync the sound to the video but it seems like it has to catch up even then if that makes since. I'm wondering if it's the computer or the software itself if anyone may know?

My processor is an AMD eight core 4.01 GHz
and my Ram is 16 GB
