Having multipe channels

The channel one layout and design is supposed like an all in one channel so now there is no need to have multiple channels when you can create diffrent sections for diffrent content. they say you want all your traffic going to one channel. I know besides gaming channels because of copyright issues and partnering with diffrent gaming networks. Is it really still necessary to have a vlog channel, a main channel, a behind the scenes channel, etc?
 
You can have multiple sections on your channel for vlogs and games or something, but your subs will still get notifications about videos they don't care about. Could be annoying for them.

Why not use playlists.............
 
i just recently made me another channel and i think i will make random videos,vlogs and more i don't want to mix my content together on just one channel.:)

For example: look at BartBakers channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/BartBaKer , he has only 1 channel & he uploads everything to that channel: BTS , Parodies , etc :) He's a youtube partner / a top youtuber. So i suggest keep everything on your main channel :) That way you don't have to upload to 3 accounts & keep track of all of them. Makes it simple :)

I guess its a matter of personal prefrence now. All in the way you market it.
 
The only reason I could see having multiple channels for is if you're partnered with all of them, you can gain more of a fanbase and/or $$$. Other than that, it takes a lot to be organized with this system.
