Having A Down Day

Gamevolution657

I've Got It
GGrrr, Ok so new gaming channel, been uploading for three weeks now and am at 40 subs and 800 views, Got 5 subs on saturday and none since, Not only that but a couple of rubbish youtube gaming channels have hit hundreds of subs, I wont give up and luckily have a friend who does the channel with me which means we can pick each other up on rubbish days!, Does anyone else feel like there getting nowhere every now and then!!. Onwards and upwards

"but a couple of rubbish youtube gaming channels"

They are not rubbish. They are just posting videos of what they love to do and you have absolutely no right to say that they are rubbish!

On the other hand, you just gotta be patient. It's not about becoming famous. If that's what you think, you're misinformed.

If they were that s**t no one would watch em.
If you want to try and get even more subs you could try doing other games..

i couldnt agree more

I disagree with your statement in regards to "rubbish channels", either they are doing something which appeals to a particular part of the youtube "market" or they do sub4sub. have you sent a message to these channels, maybe get a collabration with them or network with them to grow together? Never look at another person's channel and compare it to your own, if they are "bigger" than you, why is that? work with them!

When I go to a channel, I don't check their sub count but what I do look for is 'how much each video is viewed and the feedback they get', that will give you a good indication what the channel is about.

Everyone has there down days, if you aren't enjoying recording and editting take time out, if you persist through it because "you must upload" you will just burn out and quit, this happens all the time when people do something they don't enjoy. real life example, if I'm having a bad patch in work and struggling to motivate myself, I take 2 days off and do something I enjoy and be with my family, this powers me on! the result being, my productive increases and my work is better for it.

Whoaa!! Ok so the word rubbish seems to have got peoples hackles up!!, Ok maybe I have no right to say that, let me rephrase, Channels that record gameplay with a handheld mobile phone and fill their commentary with swearing and think its clever to talk about women as objects, which surely doesnt have much to do with gameplay!!!!. Like I said I was having a down day!, Maybe i should just keep quite next time

The members of the forum were just defending the other channels cause no-one likes to call other people rubbish but its clear you didn't mean it in that way now so its fine, if your ever having a down day you can either just take a break from it for 2 or 3 days to get your mojo back, or sometimes I look at channels that are doing really well in the niche I make vids in, and think that one day if you keep going you could be as successful as them, this motivates me on bad days :)

Couldn't agree more doing something that you love talking about is so important, if I didn't love talking about the stuff I make videos on then I would just burn out and fail

No channel is rubbish! You must remember that we can have channels where they are already known by other people on other networks, so they already have a list of subs ready. Then you have people like myself who are not very social, but I know this has to change.

To call a channel rubbish is not very nice, if you think they are rubbish, then why not give them feedback on how to improve in your eyes, but it don't need to be put over in a nasty way.

The first day I joined this forum, I got 8 new subs, but most only subs for a sub back, not because they want to watch my videos and yes that's upsetting! I would like to see my view count go up much more then my subs because it means that all that time I put in to share with others is being seen and enjoyed.

I know I'm not a great gamer, and I'm a female that's not going to sit around in low crop top to grab people. My channel a gaming one and it's the gaming your there to see. this already put's me in what you would called the rubbish channel maybe? But I don't think I'm rubbish, just different.

I really hope your mood comes back up and you hang in there....
