Have Your Fans Ever Surprised You?

i like when i see the same people commenting on my videos over the months or years, it warms my heart lol
 
I have a guy that watches everything he missed once a week. He always comments on everything when he comes through. I have received a couple donations to my channel. Guys have mad fan art. I have been called "The greatest YouTuber ever!" a few times. Though that last one would lead me to believe the person saying it just discovered YouTube. I got a long ways to go.
 
Somebody enjoyed my channel so much they sent me some gifts, that was lovely. Although as great as the gifts were I felt the most valuable thing in that package was a personal letter that told me why they felt I deserved the gifts. I never thought anyone would be entertained by my videos to that extent, I was really touched.
Other than that, I really love seeing comments that go into a lot of detail or ask questions. It doesn't sound like much but to me it's a big compliment when a video of mine starts a conversation.
 
I don't really have any 'fans' but I want to share how viewers in general have surprised me.
I was surprised in a good way when I uploaded my first video and someone left a nice comment, liked the video, and subbed to my channel. That felt really good and gave me a great start on the channel.
I was surprised in a bad way when an active sub used to watch most of my videos, leave likes, post nice comments, and share the videos. Out of the blue, that person unsubs. Yea, took me by surprise.
 
I recently got a comment by a person who translated their sentence from english to my native language, and it ended up funny af and really surprising!
 
when i was streaming allot (more youtube now) on twith my diehard fans came every stream and keep watching and chatting with my over 10+ hours
sometimes when they are working they still watch me and chat with me wft
 
I've been kind of surprised with how many of the folks who watch my videos (I can't really call them "fans," since that makes me feel weird) have become friends online in different formats (Instagram, Facebook and the like). I even got a couple of nice Christmas cards from them this year! That was nice.
