Have I been targeted?

Okay, so here's the deal, I seem to have gone from having 150 Subs to 305 in a few days. I've not done anything other than upload normally and just use YouTube on a regular basis. I'm slightly worried about how all these subscribers got here?

Have I been targeted by some sort of subscribing bot or something? I've never used any sub4sub websites or anything like that, I'm rather worried I've been targeted and that my account will get shut down because of it. Is that possible?

Of course, I'm happy I'm at 300+ subs and I'm sort of taking it as it is, but it's rather mysterious..

I doubt they would shut your channel down because of a couple hundred subs.
But yes, everything in this world is suspicious :P

Hm, there's a part of me which is like "OMG! Yay! 300 Subs!" then a part of me which is like "If this is someone targeting me that kinda sucks" :(
 
As michael said, check if they make videos. And maybe some big youtuber shared your video or channel.

hmmm strange, but maybe like has been said before, maybe someone with a big channel gave you a shout out or liked one of your videos :) Congrats anyways! :)

I would have thought if that happened someone would know about it, or I would know. I don't know anymore. Oh well, I should take it as it is I suppose! Thanks
 
It's possible people just found out about you...or that you had the subscribers and just got a sudden update on your Youtube. If the people subscribing don't have videos it doesn't mean anything since you have to have a youtube profile to comment. My sister has had one well before I started making youtube so that she could comment on her subscriptions. Check it out and enjoy!
