Haters ... how to deal with them:

Hey guys,

Last night out of the blue I just got a tun of hate, mass commenting, emails then went as far to somehow get my Skype details and add me. Then sent me another load of horrible messages.

This seriously effected me, I love doing YouTube, It's fun and I like the thought of helping people or just giving out nice content for people. I care what people think, and feedback is essential. So I took this pretty hard, I felt like s**t and was generally hurt.

So what do we do with people like this?
-Block their channel from commenting
- Remove the comments
- Block them from your Skype
- Or make a fool out of them (That's what one of my mates do)

But after doing all this, I still felt like quitting YouTube, so some more advice would be nice.

Mate i know. Hate can be really hard to take. But seriously, do you let people do this to you?
You aint worth it, because a few individuals doesnt like your content doesnt mean the whole world hates it too.
Haters are something you shouldn't spend time on.
Just block them on skype. Let them comment and everything, just disregard it. It can be hard, but after a while you'll learn to just brush it off. Its just words and they doesnt mean anything because you dont care about those people.

Chin up, keep doing your thing mate.
Dont let haters bring you down.
 
What did you do to get such hate? :eek:
As for in the old days, when i got hate i'd replay with a nice comment.
"Omg ur stoopid" Answer would be like "I really like your intellect too :)". They'd be confused and ususally stop it :p
 
if they are really bothering you man block them an report it as well! but if you really love youtubing Please don't quit! you owe it to yourself to keep going if you enjoy it!!

Thanks :) I know It shouldn't bother me, I don't know why it does, it just really effects me when people go out of their way to just try make me feel like s**t. I'm taking a short break from uploading on this channel though, cool off and work on my second channel and get some music out for youtubers ;)

Thanks :) It's very unlikely I'll quit after the hard work I put it, but I definitely will take a break.

I guess they didn't like my content, sorry for the language... that is one of MANY comments he left. But I think I'll get over it soon, until then i'll take a short break and work on something that doesn't require colour correction, but requires me to find some nice royalty free music to upload on my second channel.

thats just brainless hate man. just block and ignore them take your break then come back full force!
