Early in my YouTube I had two videos get over 5000 views but got maybe 5 subscribers out of it. 10000 views, at minimum, and nothing to show for it. Seems like I gain a subscriber a week or two weeks.

If you believe in yourself then you will succeed on YouTube.

The only reason a person wouldn't succeed on YouTube would be due to their definition of "success".

I aim to get as many subs as I can. Honestly, if I EVER 1,000, I will likely do cartwheels out of joy.

As long as I have an interactive audience with which I can communicate my thoughts and ideas, and create conversations, I have succeeded.

Now just to build that following.....

I tend to agree with the "No" comment. That is like saying if you keep playing baseball, basketball, football, etc, you are going to make the big leagues. For most it just isn't going to happen. There are lots of people that try very hard, myself included, that are never going to have a billion views. That is why I am shooting for only 200,000,000.

I just started my channel a month and a half ago and my 2nd video, "Fake Jordan Prank" is at 50k plus views and it made it on WSHH with 976,716 plus views. That pretty much jumped started my channel. We're about to hit 4k subs
