Has It Just Been a Bad Month All Around?

I had a talk with my network head today about why my sub count has stagnated and he mentioned to me that this month has been abnormally bad for Youtubing period, like he hasn't seen a month this bad since he started and he started with his MCN about 2 1/2 years ago. After 3 straight months of 100+ sub growth I will be lucky to get 75 this month, and this week I've stagnated.

I was just wondering if anyone else has been experiencing abnormally slow growth lately?

My subs are at a steady snail's pace, but my views and watch time have dropped pretty drastically.... It's weird because the drop happened right after I left Fullscreen, but I doubt that's why the drop happened. I noticed my "stun gun fun" video hasn't been suggested as often on other videos as it has for the past few months which sucks, that video was doing pretty good for a while and is now my second most viewed video. Oh well, I have an idea that I'll be doing in the next couple weeks that will hopefully go viral if I pull it off right... The idea is SO stupid that it will either fail horribly or be a WTF video that everyone shares.

My channel is still really small so maybe I'm not feeling it as much as everyone else but November has been a really good month so far for me. In the whole month of October I gained 6 subs and this month so far I've gained 8. September was my weakest month for growth.

*touches wood* I've had a great month! But saying that i haven't anything to compare it too. I wish you all have a rise again with it coming up to christmas.
 
I'm guessing what your network is talking about is the lower than average CPM ($$) for the time of year but that doesn't affect subs and views.

As for subs and views, mine are increasing at their usual rate.
 
My Subs and views are steady, though my new videos aren't getting the traction they should. They are all 1000x better then my old videos but the views are just crawling in. Almost all of my YT friends have been talking about the drop as well, maybe it has something to do with youtube red?
