Has anyone used Virool?

I searched but haven't found anything; I see Virool banner ads on here frequently, but I was just wondering if anyone here has actually used it. Does anyone have any actual experience with Virool?

I don't have personal experience, but my friend has, and the results are extremely unsatisfying. I'll keep it sweet and simple for you to understand.

Basically virool allows you to budget a certain amount for a campaign in hopes of making your video go viral. Their promise to you is that your video will reach many social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, personal blogs, etc. Your campaign has two different types of ads displayed. One on websites and personal blogs, and one on social networking site. What you don't know are the type of traffic sources they use to get your "real" views. Sometimes your ad will be displayed on some adult dating site or some random gambling site.

My friend actually got the views, but a week after his video analytics updated, he checked his audience retention percentage and they were around 28%. This is horrible for a video with more than 50k views. The views were worldwide, but again low quality. He did not like how he informed Virool customer support about targeting his niche product to a certain age group. That email was ignored. Traffic sources were from Virool itself. There's nothing in it mentioning any Facebook referrals or Embedding on external websites.

Tl;dr: Do not invest Virool unless you want s****y low-quality, low retention views for a "premium" price.

There's nothing wrong with investing money to jumpstart your video/channel. People on here make it seem like it's a bad thing. If you're a small company, you will probably end up investing a small amount. Just know who you are dealing with and what type of service they're offering you. You should Google keyword "Bigbuddy Bhw" if you want to deal with a legitimate user(no direct links, sorry).

Best of luck and hope you find what you're looking for.

Virool seems like a paid viewbot to me, it claims to make your video go viral but all of the viral videos on youtube didn't use Virool so why should you?

Do not use virool, unless you put in a large sum of money I'm talking 500+ I've put in 20 dollars and 50 dollars, you get about 200 views, and most of them are not legit views, Virool just wants your money.

You'll get a lot of fake views from Virool. It is too expensive and many consider it cheating.

^ For everyone saying that the views are fake, obviously you don't know what you're talking about. Virool does not give you fake views. You pay for advertisement space, so all the views are 100% legit.

I've used Virool a few times, and unless your video is spectacular, you're going to get nothing more than views. What happens is you pay for advertisement space. So every time your ad is shown, it counts as a view on your video. The person has to click on the ad to actually go to the video page. So you don't get very many comments, ratings, or subscribers from it. Of course you may end up being one of those lucky ones who actually does.

Is it worth it? Not really. Sure, you'll get a lot of views from it, but you won't get very many subscribers, ratings, or comments. I suggest trying it out with a small budget first before investing $100+ into it.

Do your research people! Virool is an AD CAMPAIGN, not 'buying views'. That's just a very loose term the banner adverts use to draw attention. All views are legitimate.

I've used Virool and you basically get approx 1,000 views for $100. You put your budget in, and the views tick up until the budget runs out, and then you're 'on your own' again, as you were before the campaign. It can bring in subscribers, and comments, but since you're not buying views but buying advertising space, there's no guarantee. The only reason they guarantee views is because of the sheer amount of people your advert is exposed to.

There are many, many cheaper versions out there. Virool is for people with $10k to drop on one campaign (like a music video or actual commercial for something etc), not really a random YouTuber looking for more views.

Yes, thank you KGA. I'm tired of people calling retention views fake or bot views, when they're just embedded on Fb or Twitter. People leaving comments and rating are up to them.

Virool sucks, but it doesn't suck as much as this:

Thanks! This was very beneficial. Which "many, many cheaper versions" should I look at?
