Just curious about this. I made a video for a song from a band uploaded it Youtube and was given money to promote the video. After searching Google I ended up on fiverr.com has anyone used this site for Youtube promotion? Seems all legit but I read somewhere about bot subscribers and likes etc where your video can get pulled!

Some are legit, but some are fake, some of them are bots. I wouldn't try anyone that isn't a known person on Fiverr because they could be selling you subs from bots.

Fake or bot, this sort of thing is against YouTube's ToS :( you might risk getting in trouble. Isn't worth it mate!

Yea that was my concern about it. Just had a good look at it and those gigs as they call them some have lots of positive comments with the odd 'my video got removed' comment mixed in. If you upload a video and pay to promote it say 1000 views + 500 likes why would Youtube remove the video. Is it because it seems fishy and not natural or because some came from a bot? Would just like to know as I want to help promote a single video (not on my channel by the way)

It's more 'selling views/subs for money (or buying them)' is what's against the rules, if you advertise your site on there and, say, offer a shout-out for a fiver providing people view or sub, maybe that's not as bad. For the most part YT will turn a blind eye but they've begun auditing their views. Meaning they 'delete' views made by bots or spam-clicking (where people don't watch enough of the video to be considered a view). Could wind up hurting your channel in the long run.

You know... you can promote your video's Here, Yttalk..

Thanks I will do that. I need to get a bit more clued up though first lol it seems a bit of a minefield with copyright/monitising. There is plenty of advice on this site I think I'll come away from here armed with knowledge :)

Yeah, for this is why I did not try it at all, since I knew someone that did it and got in trouble by Youtube.

What's really sad is it can also depend on who you are and how much money you rake in for YouTube (RWJ, for e.g. -- a channel full of copyright stuff, but the bigwigs keep re-opening his channel because of the millions lol... sad times!)
