Has anyone used any imaginative methods of advertising?

Has anyone tried a creative way of getting their channel out there - aka not Google Adwords (not even necessarily online)? If so, did it work well?

I didn't do it myself, but one of my songs was played at a radio station with a small amount of listeners...

Somebody must have suggested one of my songs on there...

It was afterwards when I was checking my statistics and saw a sudden spike in views. So yeah, it's very nice

But still haven't reached my millionth viewer. That would take a while I'm afraid...

I usually just stick to YTTalk, Tumblr, Reddit and sometimes Twitter. But if you find any other cool ones, PLEASE TELL US
