Has Anyone Seen This On Their Channel and Dashboard?

Hi everyone.

I've been noticing something strange in the last couple of weeks where subscriber numbers are concerned. The count on the channel page and the dashboard count never seem to match up; sometimes skewing as much as a dozen more showing on the dashboard than show on the actual channel page.

Is this happening to anyone else here?

The count on the channel page does not get updated as often. I can go to my channel now and on the page below my masthead it says 583, but if I click my picture at the top right to access my Creator Studio it says 585.

Livecounts-dot-net confirms the 585.

Yup, that's normal. They don't seem to count the same way or get updated the same way, so it's not something I worry about too much.

This only happened to me in terms of the view counts. The view count, for a particular video that I uploaded, would display a different number in terms of my channel compared to when I actually search it in the dashboard. It's absurd!

I use an app on my phone called 'Realtime Subscriber Count.' It updates it in realtime, so you don't need to keep refreshing. Such an addictive app to look at during my high peaks of traffic.

@PositivelyBrainwashed Unfortunately I don't have an active mobile phone; so I can't use that app. I honestly don't like the idea of accessing the net using a mobile; they are too easy to hack. One day soon though, I'll have to outfit one of my phones with an active SIM card; I have a channel or two I want to phone-verify.

I have noticed.
The dashboard seem to be updated sooner than the channel page.

I had 1342 on my dashboard and 1339 on my channel page.
