so I go onto Youtube and see that things have changed! and in case I couldn't tell straight off the bat, they gave me a nice little message saying that it's changed.
So when you first go on, you automatically go to the "What to Watch" page, where Youtube tries to predict what you'd like to watch next. kinda cool i guess. but then I noticed, "hey these are kinda old videos that are first being displayed"
the homepage's first priority isn't to give you fresh content from those channels you subscribe to. which I personally feel is awful. I like to keep up to date with my subscriptions (hence I subscribed to them) and I feel like the new layout makes that hard.
now, before people start checking this out I have to say one thing. You can sort of get it to the old way by going to the "My Subscriptions" tab, which is right under the "What to Watch" tab, then go click uploads only. However, that's 2 unnecessary steps, PLUS when you close out of the window and go back to youtube, it automatically brings you to the What to Watch tab.
i personally think this is dumb. or at least it isn't the right move. I'd like to know what you guys think! feel free to sound off on anything!
