Has anyone had problems with sony vegas crashing?

I've spend the last 5 hours editing and sony vegas crashed. thank god i saved it before.

It also happened to me today, it crashed like 6 times in 10 minutes then stopped. Good thing I save like once every 2 sec

Nah, it's not your pc. I'm going to start learning Premiere Pro and After Effects btw, there seem to be a lot more stuff you can do, expecially if you're using both

I would do that but I hate learning new software

One reason why I went from Vegas to Premiere pro (Even though premiere pro doesnt like VBR so I have to use handbrake) were non-stop crashes. During editing were somehow "ok it happens" but when I was rendering video, chance of crashing around 95-99% of rendering was almost as high as rendering percentage. Seems like Vegas is still pretty unstable ...

vegas doesnt crash while rendering for me. its really just when I import media. It is really unstable though
