Has anyone ever been stuck at a sub count?

I think a lot of people get stuck after their friends and relatives have already subscribed to them. Just keep pushing out content. Here's a quote that I love that can be applied to anything (it's meant for business, but can be applied to YouTube):

I have done it backwards, havent even told friends or family and got the subs myself. 119 in 2 months so far. Did I get stuck, yes....75 was a pain for 4 weeks ha ha ha. Good luck guys.
 
I assume you're pretty new on youtube so it's pretty common. when I first started youtubing years ago, I didn't receive subs for a few weeks at a time. the more popular you get, it will usually go up assuming your content is decent.

I was stuck at 103 for a while. Then I started progressing again :). And now it is fluctuating :crying:.
 
Yea the begging sucks so much... cause when you dont have a youtube channel, I remember looking at like the channels subs and views and if it was anything lower than like 100,000 subs I would just click away without looking at the video, But yea you just gotta keep on going and have fun!
 
Actually no. I've been averaging about 6 subs a week since I've started. So every few days 1 or 2 will add on and if I go a week then maybe later 5 or so will add on.
 
Usually I pick up at least 1 or 2 subscribers a week. A few weeks ago I got 10 in a week. Today I've been stuck on 41 since then haha
 
Yes, I get stuck all the time! For the longest time when I started I was stuck at like 12, now I am stuck again at 40. It seems to just be a part of being a small youtuber.
