I have about 52K subs and I am verified, I have the email option, and have passed the monutes watched thing you mentioned.@ Crown Seeing as how you cannot get Verified status without at least 100K in subscribers, I would consider myself tiny compared to you.
And mine are usually medium length to feature length videos that get posted 4 to 10 per month; well I am not giving up by any means as I love what I do on YouTube.I have about 52K subs and I am verified, I have the email option, and have passed the monutes watched thing you mentioned.
As for advice I can't really give much, as my type off videos are the worse idea if you want to get money/popular. becvause they are very short videos that take months to be posted.
that's fine if you keep yourself on track, its good that you have a very unique channel I've never seen any the same, so having a niche is goodAnd mine are usually medium length to feature length videos that get posted 4 to 10 per month; well I am not giving up by any means as I love what I do on YouTube.

I don't consider myself to be a large channel- ( medium maybe ) but yes, I have surpassed that view time and I have access to private YouTube support via email.
It basically gives me the option when I click on "help" at the bottom of the screen:

When I click on that, I can fill in a form which sends an email to Youtube and they usually reply within 24 hours. The quality of the response isn't always that great though. Often as a first reply, they will link to articles in their knowledge base. It's only when you tell them that you've read all that and still have a problem, that they escalate the issue or look at it more closely.
Though have a good ways to go!Isn't it only 15k watched hours for email support? I've had the email support for a couple years, don't think I ever used it though. However earlier this year YouTube setup me up with a partner manager, he's helped me fix a few things (enable non-skipable ads, change custom url).YouTube channel owners who have 30K hours or more of watch time in the 90 days preceding, are entitled to direct support from YouTube Admin as I understand it. Please, you who are experts here correct me if I am wrong. 30K/month in watch time hours is also one of the requirements for YouTube Certification.
I think I've seen at least one YouTube Certified badge on this site. 30,000 hours equals 1,800,000 watch time minutes, and I'd like to know how to get there myself. Give us your watch time secrets as replies to this thread.

I actually ended up with a triple layer niche due to there being so many hypnotists, and sound healers (Binaural Beat makers and Ambient Musicians doing meditation/relaxation music), that I felt the only way to stand out was to combine all three.that's fine if you keep yourself on track, its good that you have a very unique channel I've never seen any the same, so having a niche is good![]()
Already doing that; but there are many others doing the same things as I am. I think you are right about the 15K in 90 days. I cannot link as am not VIP, but search YouTube for YouTube Certified and you will find out all about it. What is your channel? Are you DBA Gamer?Isn't it only 15k watched hours for email support? What's YouTube Certified? (I do have over 30k watched hours)
Also to answer your question, create engaging quality videos that your subscribers want to watch.
Is ok @Khappa, the post is aimed at much larger channels than you or I have at the moment.Interesting question,
but please give me some months more cause now it is early to me to answer, my channel is very very small right now as you can see.
