Thanks everyone I really appreciate it. I am actually thinking of hiring someone to look into this but its expensive. It could be just a psychological thing (I have had depression) but swear there are videos on the list that "shouldn't" be there, or were somehow "put there" by something because they don't match with what I've watched recently. That being said, I have over 10,000 video watches... First at all I can understand why someone could become a little paranoid with all the hacking & phishing that is literally happening every day so your depression that you had in the past might actually play you a little mind trick here since the human brain does sometimes act in strange ways and is probably seeing a connection between things that might be not there.
Still this wasn`t the case here since what you had experienced or still are on YouTube is happening to almost all of us at some point where we get put up some Content on the Front Page of YouTube that does literally have nothing at all to do with our usual View History at all. In 2011 & 2012 Google changed one of their algorithms for the Front Page (It was before the Front Page Design changed to what it is nowadays) and for like a week everyone whas suddenly getting Videos listed in their Video Recommendation or on the Front Page that had absolutly nothing to do with what they had watched in the past. People that watched Classic Music Videos suddenly were bombarded with Rap Videos and so on and so on.
It was fixed in no time but it, at least for me, showed me that even if usually the Videos are based on your History of watched Videos on YouTube still at some point get`s screwed up because the Team at YouTube is more or less constandly changing the algorithm in the background and as far as I know doesn`t really keep any Update about how it does work or at least only when they do some major changes like in the past.
About your other question:
To make sure your Account more or less is save you really should consider to turn on the 2-Step Verification support.google.com/accounts/answer/180744 since that way someone would have to not only steal your Login and Pass but also at the same time your Mobile Devvice to be able to enter your Account.
Usually that`s enough to make sure that even if when things get out of your control that you are still able to get your Account back if it has been for whatever reason hacked or somehow has just guessed your Login/Pass at that point.
Last but not least:
And even if your account would get hacked at some point for whatever reason it might happen and you have lost temporarily access to it nothing is lost since in this case you still can get it back since YouTube does have for this case too a resolution: support.google.com/youtube/answer/76187?hl=en
A friend of my got hacked in 2012 and literally all her Videos got erased. We got in contact with YouTube and went through the hole verification and every single of her Video got restored in less then a couple of days and since then she is using the 2-Step Verification and never had any incident since then.
