I've Got It
I'm looking to start getting into tracking and recording for more than just myself.

I've been recording and tracking for a couple of years and am looking to record for others such as original bands, background music for vloggers, backing tracks, ect.

Not looking to do a lot, probably about 5-10 songs, if possible.

If you have a regular stereo track, then it is no way this can be done. Some times it is possible to (partially) remove the lead vocal, since this usually is mixed dead center.
When a number of recorded tracks are mixed down to a stereo file, then you have for instance stereo effects being printed all across the stereo spectrum. People who attempts to remove vocals will hear these vocal effects as a "ghost-like" voice in the background.
The same will be true for a guitar track. Even if it was mixed dead center, you would still hear any stereo effects being used on the guitar (like reverb). What complicates the matter is that you almost always have guitars which are mixed right and left, doing the phase cancellation impossible to pull off.
In order to have what you're after, you will either need the original recording (master) and mix down from this - or, you will need to record a new version of the song, without the guitar.

I wasn't planning on recording over a track, would be pointless of tracking if it's already been recorded.
If I was sent a track with guitars recorded already then I would delete it before recording.

that is awesome people are always looking for good music.. Do you have a place to show samples of what you have to offer?

I've been uploading to YouTube for a while which have mainly been covers with a few originals but all covers have been layered over the original tracks.
I bought myself EZDrummer and Drumkit from Hell a little while ago so I'm going to post more original content which should show I can play a bit more of a wider range of styles and also show the quality of the recording itself.
