Growing Rapidly

I've Got It
I just have a question. i dont understand some small channels are just sky rocketing getting maybe 10-20 subs a day. constantly going up in views likes and comments on every video and then there are some of us who maybe get 1 sub every week or two maybe 1 like a video and no feedback. it puzzles me. is it just luck or having very good connections with others?

i think it has to do with money and connections, i have neither of those things but ive seen people with decent content, content just like mine and content even shittier than mine sky rocket in subs and likes and actually viewers not botted.. it confuses me and it bothers me a great deal, i spend hours editing, and hours recording and putting a 110% into what i do with what i got and i dont get the proper attention that i think i deserver.... im sad about this because sometimes i lose subs.. i would kill to get 5 subs a day and increase that number ever 100 or 1000 subs. its sad.. i want to be noticed like others but i cant seem to..

I wouldnt say gaining 10-20 subs a day is rapid growth but it obviously is alot better than gaining just 1 or 2 in a week. Ive been gaining 30-50 a day for the last few months and obviously still want more lol.
Mainly just comes down to abit of luck with solid content. If you upload constant content each week your definitely more likely to gain a more solid fanbase as they know your going to be uploading on a regular basis. If people like your content, there sub to you but unfortunately there are thousands upon thousands of channels on YouTube, so its extremely difficult to get noticed now as opposed to 5 or so years ago..

I would also recommend sticking to uploading the same kind of content when you first start out. My channel is dedicated to FIFA and PES videos and thats all i upload. People who want to see that will subscribe to me, people who dont wont. Once you get over 100,000 subs then you can start branching out to other games and still get consistent views. Thats my little tip anyway and has worked well for me.

I can't help but feel that this thread is aimed at channels like mine. I gained 60 subs in 2 weeks, and in no way, shape or form do I think I should apologize for that? I understand that some people aren't as lucky, and unfortunately grow at a much slower pace, but I don't think it's something to be angry about, nor say they have "s****y content" just because yours isn't getting noticed.

It may be s****y to you, but there are obviously quite a few people that disagree. Instead of downgrading these creators, why don't you talk to them? Ask them how they did it and see if you can get some tips?[DOUBLEPOST=1392080638,1392080504][/DOUBLEPOST]And connections shouldn't be put down either, I'm sure if you had them you would use them, that's the point. Some people are lucky and know people and have built names for themselves previously. It's luck of the draw, honestly.

I did not down grade anyone nor am i angry. i was asking a question. yes i know damn well i do the same thing any of the rapidly growing people are. i was just wondering and wanted some opinions sorry for any misconceptions. i dont think anyones content is "s****y" and i apologize if you feel this was aimed towards you

It depends on #1 content, #2 execution of content... Honestly Crimson I watched a few of your vids and I simply would not sub because you are super super loud. I mean you are putting out similar content and commentary to 90% of the Minecraft guys but you are Super Loud... Cut the volume back a bit and clean up the audio and you might see better numbers.

I don't know I am getting good growth at least I feel it is around 1-3 subs a day. For me I feel it is consistency, just having fun, and getting my name out there. I also post on forums and am actively watching others to improve. I feel that best way to learn is to observe but there is a difference between observing and copying. I do my best to try to do my own thing. I try to just have fun and if people have fun I feel they will subscribe :)

Well i admit i am loud. im loud when i feel excited. i feel excited when i make videos. sorry that that does not come to your liking. no disrespect but it is indeed my channel. if i stopped doing things how i did id feel weird and awkward. and yes a lot of people do minecraft but i like the game so i play it. thats what youtube is about right? do what you want and have fun with it?

I personally believe #1 is content and #2 is a bit of luck.
The channel I use now (which is the 7th over 4 years, yes I have a lot of experience) has grown faster than any other channel I've had. I only started it last month and I already have 75 subscribers.
But my other channels had slow growth, and I think that's because my content used to be really s****y. seriously go to my second channel, I've reuploaded stuff from my old channel when I started to make gaming videos (I am no way advertising in any way)
I've been on youtube for 4 years, so I know what it's like to not grow. Yes, IT SUCKS. But I think you should watch your videos and see what may turn people away from your channel. Then you can improve your content and people are more likely to subscribe.
Just don't care about the numbers. If you're able to entertain even one person, that's friggin amazing. If you become obsessed with numbers, then your content will probably become worse or something. I became obsessed with numbers and I used Sub4sub websites. Nope, don't do that.
I went and watched some of your vids. Quality: Not bad? Entertainment value: Depends on person. However, on your happy wheels video, the mic kinda hurt my ears. I like your energy though, we're both energetic :P
