Growing my gaming channel?

Hey guys! Good day so far? Awesome:). As you may know from my username, I have a gaming channel called SIProductions. I made the channel logo, art, and the channel itself around January 2015, and sometime last week I brought it back online. So far I have 6 videos, all of them mainly focused on the Call Of Duty game series. But now that I'm thinking, I want to just go.. what's the word.. BIGGER. I am planning to make a lot more series of all different games and genres, and even game reviews.

But my one question is: How do I grow bigger?
So far I have 43 subscribers, but about 1/2 of them are from when I just started out I used a program called "SubXcess". Bad move. Not only is sub for sub cheating, but it really takes away the whole aspect of growing a youtube channel. I learned that almost as soon as I started. The other 1/2 of my subscribers consist of legit subscribers, and my friends. I plan to grow my channel to 500 subscribers by October 1, 2015. But that just leaves me back at phase 1:
How do I get more subscribers?
How do I spread my name throughout the Youtube community?

I've been watching a few videos on how to grow your channel. Most, if not all, of the videos say I need to use social media. I already knew I needed to do that, because I have been using youtube for a few years spread out over 3 channels, but this is the one I'm going to blast off with. Anyways, I made a Twitter and Instagram account, and then I thought, how are my going to advertise these? I already knew I would need an overlay eventually, but now the time has come and I set out to work on one. By the time I was finished, I had a nice overlay that I put the social media names on. Perfect. Next, I needed an intro. After my intro was done, I had a nice animation to grab the viewers attention. I made shiny thumbnails to go with my videos, and I have some of the highest quality recording equipment in the market. For my commentary, I have the "Blue Yeti Mike". I also have Camtasia to edit, Wirecast and a Blackmagic Intensity Shuttle to record. Lets go over the stuff I have so far.

-Instagram
-Overlay for Videos
-Video Intro
-Channel Intro
-Thumbnails
-All of the recording equipment

However, I have all of the necessary equipment and art, but now I need people to watch it! Which yet again brings me back to my question: How do I grow bigger?

It would mean a ton to me if you guys could check out my channel, and give me feedback on how I can get more subscribers!

Thank you guys for all of the help, as I posted a Introduction about myself and you guys helped answer a lot of my questions! Don't be afraid to respond!

I say this is all good as it related to branding yourself and having high production quality. But the real growth part comes from whether your content is worth viewers time to watch, like, comment, share, etc. It might look top notch, but it means nothing if your content/commentary isn't worth it. I'm sure you already know much CoD is already out there and what you're up against. I personally am not a fan of CoD :) But if I was and say I already had 5 other CoD channels I was subbed to, my question to you would be why should I make you my sixth? :thumbsup2: What would make me want to comment on or show your video to someone else?

That being said, I'm still growing too and working on finding ways to stand out from the crowd for a unique experience. I'm working on applying my above quote to my own channel too :) In the meantime, it's just a matter of staying active in the YT creator community and meeting other creators...including talking with creators outside of your genre (aka gaming).

Thanks so much for your support! It really means a lot and I will keep that in mind :)

I agree with what both the other two said. Try and come up with some original ideas. If you really want to do COD try and think of ideas for videos that you've never seen before with COD. I have a few videos with The Sims 4 that I broke away from the norm on videos I've seen with it and that got them ALOT of views. Brain storming can be kind of a pain but it is worth it. Also with gameplay you gotta keep pumping out them good quality videos. Also have you tried reddit?

Forums like this one. Everyone here has (or wants to have/will have) their own channel. So we're not the "general" target audience. But you can learn things or maybe someone isnt into your content but knows someone else who'd like your content or has similar traits.

Ok. Thanks, Mr. Overseer of the Realm ;)
