Growing is hard... help advice

I know its all about patience but I would like to hear some advice here.

So YT actually feeds your vids primairly in your local area. My "problem" is that my local area is not that Youtube-attached (some random city in Belgium). So getting subbed is hard. My foreign viewtime is getting better though..

Another thing is, I still didnt go face-cam. Any ideas if Face-cam would be better? Hehe Ill need a haircut first...
 
The best thing ive learned is that you dont know your audiance just because they watch your stuff, I learned that videos with a bigger interaction like high coments and dislikes/likes were more valuable than high views because that ment that it was something that got people to pay attention, so when i tryed new things, i kept the stuff that got the interaction, i started this about 3 months ago, ive made 12 videos and ive gained 70 subs, before that i was at about 27 for a whole year
 
I wouldn't get too tied up with what area you're in. It all comes back to the basic principles. Consistency, Uniqueness, Passion, Hard Work, Commitment, Basic SEO etc...
Face-cam would be great, more engaging and we get to know you!

Thanks, I will try it out. But you are right. Now that you mention it, my best growing vids are the vids with the (high) comments.

Ok thanks for the advice. So yeah my next step will be face-cam. It got delayed cuz my DSLR is a Pentax model, and there is no software that supports pc-cam mode. What a mess. But its a fun mess, you know? haha.[DOUBLEPOST=1476360428,1476360237][/DOUBLEPOST]
