U know what also generates views? Good tags, description and title and most of all good content.

The idea that good content and tagging will be enough went out the door looooooooong ago. You can post all the epic content you want and unless you have your first couple thousand subs no one will see it. And you can tag and newsjack all you want and it won't rank in searches post-algorithm-change.

I hope some day you will join us, youTube only counts withs 0's and 1's

Why have 10-15 channels? why not focus on one and make it a really good one?

Took a quick look over your channel, because we believe that good content will grab attention and mean video views. To be Frank, it wasn't until I scrolled across this video that I was grabbed by either title, thumbnail, implied content, or description.

In this discussion, the question is how often will a user like ourselves chance across your catalogue, and watch a single video? With 60,000+ uploads a day, with the personally curated subscriptions homepage for the logged in user, and purchased views through promotional companies spiking traffic to the requisite hundreds of thousands of views to hit the featured content tier-- an independent producer must find ways to get noticed. Subscribers are no longer a badge of approval, so much as a filter on your google search results.

And same w/Likes. I have a few different channels right now. None which I am that serious about. But I've noticed that traffic to certain videos I've uploaded stays real slow for a week/ a couple weeks. (A few hundred, etc. Maybe like 15-20 views a day). Then all of a sudden I check it and it's gotten 10,000 views since I last checked and continues to get thousands a day. The reason is because once it got a certain amount of likes, views, shares, etc. it starts ranking for searches. Where as at first it didn't, regardless of the title or keywords.

Why would you want to sub4sub yes it gets you a subscriber, but if you don't get the views then it's really not worth it. Sub4sub in general isn't worth it...you're getting a worthless subscriber who will be inactive.

Once you've gained a subscriber it's that much easier for the next viewer to want to subscribe. No one wants to be the first or last person follow a trend. Sub4Sub to a point, hit a goal, but know that many of those subscribers will be fair weather if not deadbeat.
