Got YouTube Certified

So I passed my YouTube certification test today, 93% on the first try! I was kinda surprised, it was tough and I was stressing out the whole time since you only get two tries.

Anyway, I was curious who else here has got that and what you do with it? I was planning on doing some marketing consulting so I thought this would add some real credibility.
 
Just looked up what that is and i'm still a bit confused as to what exactly the intended goal is. could you explain what exactly you'll be doing???
 
Even after reading about it I still don't grasp why it's helpful. It basically says you get a badge saying you're certified and access to different "tracks" I don't know what a track is and I'm not seeing the value in having a badge that no one even recognizes at this time. Are companies and helpful networking groups being given a list of certified channels in the same way that material is solicited through say record labels or music attornies in the music industry?
 
The purpose is the same as any certification program, it shows that you have demonstrated expertise in a certain thing. In this case, it's "Audience Growth". Getting certified at this point would only be useful for someone in the industry, either as a company or an individual. A company would get it to learn how to better help clients and helps clients tell who's at least got their "stuff" together. For me, I want to do consulting to help either companies or individuals improve their social media marketing. With this it's just something that differentiates me.

Ohhhhh and that's why it's BETA. It doesn't mean much to people YET, but no certification program does in the beginning, once it becomes well known the title becomes more prestigious and carries more weight yes?[DOUBLEPOST=1406605290,1406605182][/DOUBLEPOST]Oh wow that's pretty heavy when you think about it guys, just like we have certified electricians and certified plumbers, Thio is now a certified professional youtuber.
