Google Search Terms?

Hey guys,

YouTube search terms are easy to find in analytics, but Google Search is included as an external source. Am I missing something where I can see what Google search terms are finding my videos, or is there a method to track those?

They are fast catching my YouTube searches and I'd really like to know!

When you click on the '?' it says

Google search results which link to YouTube videos. These no longer provide a search term.

Starting from 3-4 years ago, Google started "anonymizing" data from Google Search so you could no longer see what queries are leading to your channel.

There is a workaround for this, but it will only work for popular videos.

Go to semrush.com and paste the link of the video into the search bar. If your video is popular enough, it'll tell what popular search terms it comes up on in Google and what the volume of those search terms is.

It seems like Google search terms are quite narrow, whereas the videos show up for much broader search terms in YouTube search.
