But sometimes they just like the post on Google Plus communities, cause I'll get a wave of "+1s" after posting in Funny Youtube communities, but I check analytics and there isn't a wave of people watching??? idk if it is a view :( But regardless, good interaction for the video I suppose
 
If you find the right communities and choose the perfect timing then it's an excellent source to get views. But for me Facebook generates higher views. Twitter is useless to me don't get any views from views from there unless it shows up as "other"

Do you post to your own Facebook page or other people's? I tend to get the views when I post on other people's pages, I may get like 1 or 2 views when I post to my own wall. Twitter is weird, I don't really get it. It has resulted in the most views in a 48 hour period I ever had though from one successful Tweet. Speaking of, I just made an interesting Tweet a second ago, we'll see how that goes.
 
Google+ works very fine for me. I promote my dross in different communities and I get a nice amount of views back. Those amounts are not large, but at least I can see the effects in real life analytics.
 
Never really looked into Google+ to be honest.
I have a page because youtube forced me too.

Had a quick look at the groups, not really sure what my video niche would be.
I searched for "rants" but the communities are so small and look lie 12y/o so not really my target.

Might try comedy next time?

I post on other facebook pages related to my content. I guess with twitter its choosing the right hashtags,anything tips on that?

Look up "My First Twitter Stalking Success!", I made a thread about my view explosion and how I did it. I used no hashtags at all on my only successful Twitter attempt.

The only time I shared a video to a spam community it got 6 +1s but no (realtime) views. I guess these people just press the button so you get a notice and check them out. :rolleyes: It's utterly useless!

It is like a "like" and therefore means very little to YouTube. :wacky2: Watch time is what boosts your ranking.
