I tried adding the friends I could find, none of them really use it if at all (dead account), I did get one of my friends to switch though. I mainly used Facebook as a RSS feed pretty much from news sites (mainly android/tech based), and Google Plus works just as good for that, if not better, because you don't have to pay Facebook to have your content to show up. You can also manage your wall by circles which helps make it easier like if you want to see friends updates, celeb updates, rss feed, ect. I always had trouble with Facebook because the top story may become the 25th story below, or the 30th might move up to the 15th spot, if that makes sense, notifications sometimes worked when replying say on a pages photo. Not saying it dosen't happen of Google+, it has a trending section but I only see it sometimes, but its never anything important. A big thing is no ads, at least not that i've seen or as obnoixous as FB's. The Hot and Reccomened suggested post are cool, makes you feel more connected to everyone. Not to mention everyone is pretty chill, you can just chat up a stranger and become friends with pretty much everyone (Which brings in the feature that because some one added you, you don't have to add them! but they still get updates from you), support teams, developers, normal people, ect. And Google has a Caturday(?) holiday, haha.
