Google plus has WAY to many limits

Yesterday i went through and started adding some of my top fans on youtube to G+ circles, and after about 20 people it said I hit the daily limit.. .-. so today I went back to add some more of my top fans to my circles and it said "you've hit the daily following limit" after adding just 2 people... wtf. If google plus wants a chance at competing with twitter and facebook they need to remove all these crazy restrictions. I can follow 2000 people on twitter in one day if I felt like it, but wit G+.. nope. I really hope google fixes this.

G+ is a complete fail in my opinion. It's way to late to the game and totally unnecessary, it is trying to inject itself into a market that is already saturated in social media. I have tried to use it a few time but I always end up just saying "whats the point" Really wish it would just go away

So basically what your saying there should only be one of anything? I was pretty meh with G+ at first, though once I decided to make a full switch over a few months back, its actually quite nice, a good competitor to Facebook, MySpace is still kinda all right, but thats kinda beating a dead horse. I find Instagram, Snapchat, and the like stupid and pointless and wish they went away.

Yes Google+ came a little later, hardly. Google+ is also a platform for google services, not just a social newtwork. Though if I'll be a little bit honest, Facebook is kinda crappy now a days, I think its popularity that all your friends/family are on it, is the only thing keeping it alive. Google+ has better photo editing, friends managment, video chat, event pages, easier way to search news and it keeps the look of the website not like google results, plus communities, I'll stop there.

I totally agree with you here, I would make the full switch to G+ now if my friends had it.. I tried to switch at one point but ended up only seeing updates from 1 person because literally no one I know has the platform.
Facebook just keeps going because of how safe it is.. you can join facebook knowing you'll find 99% of the people you've ever known because of how many people have it.

I tried adding the friends I could find, none of them really use it if at all (dead account), I did get one of my friends to switch though. I mainly used Facebook as a RSS feed pretty much from news sites (mainly android/tech based), and Google Plus works just as good for that, if not better, because you don't have to pay Facebook to have your content to show up. You can also manage your wall by circles which helps make it easier like if you want to see friends updates, celeb updates, rss feed, ect. I always had trouble with Facebook because the top story may become the 25th story below, or the 30th might move up to the 15th spot, if that makes sense, notifications sometimes worked when replying say on a pages photo. Not saying it dosen't happen of Google+, it has a trending section but I only see it sometimes, but its never anything important. A big thing is no ads, at least not that i've seen or as obnoixous as FB's. The Hot and Reccomened suggested post are cool, makes you feel more connected to everyone. Not to mention everyone is pretty chill, you can just chat up a stranger and become friends with pretty much everyone (Which brings in the feature that because some one added you, you don't have to add them! but they still get updates from you), support teams, developers, normal people, ect. And Google has a Caturday(?) holiday, haha.

I've just gone on there and added my school.. there where around 400 people in my year at school and I only found 20 of them searching for the school and year :L and I didn't even know the people that showed up apart from one..
I love most of Googles features because they've made my life easier, it's time to start trying to get some friends to change over I think.. I want to see what adding photo albums and such is like though because that's my main use for facebook at the minute.
