Google Plus Commenting on YouTube - ALL G+ COMMENTS POSTS HERE

It may be a good system, but right now it is confusing me more than it is helping me.
Sometimes I see a comment in my Inbox, not G+, and then it wont let me reply. Other times I get a comment on G+, but I can't find it anywhere in the comments of the video.

I don't like it. And also I can't comment on anything anymore? When I click the box it just goes yellow and nothing I type comes up in it? Someone help please? :(

Thats not the point the point is they are forcing people to use it if they want to use something they already use and love. The point is Google+ couldn't stand on its own two feet it wasn't appealing to users, and instead of going back to the drawing board and figuring out something that works they have forced it down youtube users throats.
Who cares?

It's an account. You signed up for an account when you registered for these forums. It's only a slight inconvenience. This is no different than a forum that once allowed guests to post, but later decided it would be better to require people to sign up for the privilege of posting.

And you don't even have to use your account. If you don't already have one, you just have to fill out a form and click submit. That IS the point. You aren't losing anything but a few moments of your time, and it's not even as if you can't also (or exclusively) use facebook to promote your channel. You have no real reason to complain.

That's because its over a year old and I'm not gonna sit here and b***h about something that's long done I still don't like the OneChannel update they did. Not the layout itself I don't mind that my big gripe with it was the change to not have the subscription feed on default on the homepage anymore, and it has hurt youtubers I know my views have dropped since the subscription feed was taken away and I know I watch less videos of people I'm subscribed to because of it.[DOUBLEPOST=1383850644,1383850434][/DOUBLEPOST]
The OneChannel layout has only been around for a few months...

It's getting a little easier, but how come when I go to the my videos page it says my new video has no comments when it does?
I'm getting the same issue. My latest video has 7 comments, but only 1 is showing under Video Manager. I think YouTube is only counting comments that are made from a non-Google+ account.

If that's what it is, it doesn't really make sense... aren't comments important to search results or something? Or am I thinking of something different?
